What is Sports Massage?

It is a firm, deep massage that works soft tissues (muscles, tendons and ligaments) to improve their strength and flexibility.

  • When muscles are overused in training or in poor posture, imbalances occur which can cause scar tissue, muscle spasms and irritation of nerves
  • Sports Massage encourages circulation to the area of injury/pain which catalyses the healing process and corrects the formation of new muscle fibres to regain maximum possible strength
