All our clinicians are members of their particular professional and regulatory bodies such as the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists, Society of Chiropodists/Podiatrists, Occupational Therapists and all are members of the Health Professions Council the main National Regulator for our Health Professionals.
All our clinicians are experts in their field with vast experience which significantly improves our clinical effectiveness and outcomes.
- The Principal - Kevin Huffington BSc (Hons) MCSP Mdip FTST
Kevin is a very dynamic and hands on physio with a good sense of humour spending his formative years in the British Army. He specialised in Physical Training, Artic Warfare and Survival Training, competing at both Triathlon and cross country skiing for the British Army. He became ITV's Bodyheat Champion in 1996 and a Gladiator audition finalist in 1998. Kevin left the Army in 1994 to train as a Chartered Physiotherapists in Sheffield. Kevin is a member of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Occupational Health and Ergonomics, the Medicolegal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists and the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists. He also has a Masters diploma in Health and Fitness Screening, Testing and Training. He has a keen interest in Low Back Pain, Work Related and Sport Injuries.
- Jo Barker - Rehab Services Manager
Jo first joined Central Rehab Services initially as a member of our reception team having spent many years in the legal industry. We soon saw her potential and when the vacancy came up for the Service Manager we all encouraged her to take up the position in which she did in a very effective and efficient way. Jo organises and runs the administrative side of the service. If you have any service queries Jo is always the best person to ask
- Nickie Blest Dip Physiotherapy MCSP
Qualified in 1981 from the Manchester School of Physiotherapy. Nickie has gained much musculoskeletal experience working in Saudi Arabia and Australia. She has extensive experience in treating football injuries and has spent time working and treating at Manchester City FC. She also has experience of high level sports injuries with elite oarsmen. Nickie is a credited Mackenzie therapist.
- Natalie Gerrelli BSc (Hons), Dip ION, BANT - Nutritional Therapist
Natalie studied Nutritional Therapy for three years with the Institute for Optimum Nutrition in London after gaining a BSc (Hons) in Food Science and Nutrition at Nottingham University and working in different areas of the food industry for nine years. She is a member of BANT (British Association for Nutritional Therapy)
